Thoughts from the Principal…
It was the best St. Paul auction I have ever been a part of.
The St. Paul auction has been held for many years, but this past Friday evening was the inaugural Jane Reineck Crusader Dinner and Auction. Many of you attended, even more of you supported it, and even more of you prayed for it to be a successful event. And it was.
I have never been prouder to be a part of the St. Paul family. The auction is a critical revenue source for the school and people support it generously every year. But this year was different. This year it meant a little more. This year not only were a huge amount of funds raised, but also a spirit of love and support for the school was palpable throughout the evening, but especially toward the end.
I have never, EVER, witnessed an outpouring of love like we all witnessed Friday evening. The way that the people in that gym generously gave in honor of Jane Reineck and the Reineck family was indescribable. Hand after hand went up to donate in her honor. Praise be to God and the power of the Holy Spirit that He blessed us with Jane and her family. St. Paul is a better place because of her and them. St. Paul is also blessed by all of you!
I am humbled and honored to be the principal of a school like this. The teachers and I are very grateful and we promise to strive to be the best we can be each and every day to the glory of God and in honor of the person who showed us how-Jane Reineck.
Thank you all for your generosity. I pray that He richly blesses you all now and always.
