Thoughts from the Principal…
As I was preparing a chapel service recently, I was looking at an order of service devoted to
prayer. While reading through it, I realized once again how powerful prayer is and how important it is to
do it.
We pray regularly at school. We have devotions with prayer, we pray before and after lunch, we
pray at the end of the school day. We pray in chapel. But we also talk to kids about praying at other
times. The Bible tells us to “pray without ceasing”. God desires that we come to Him with all of our
needs. But more than that, we can pray for other people. So often we have people in our lives that are
in need of prayer.
Our teachers and I pray for the students and families of our school and for the needs of others
every morning at our staff devotions. It is a powerful thing to pray for others.
As we walk the road of this school year together, let’s remember the power of prayer and pray
for each other. Pray for our teachers and staff and students. God promises to always listen to and
answer our prayers.
St. Paul Lutheran School is a Christ-centered school, where academics and Jesus Christ are
taught. I pray that God continue to bless our school, and all of the students and families that are a part
of it.
May God richly bless us all,
Steve Hall: Principal
